Department of Anaesthesia

Onco-Anaesthesia is speciality in itself. Here in dept. of Anaesthesia at SSGCH, we provide peri-operative care to the patients, which starts with pre-op Anaesthesia. O.P.D. where patients are seen in details clinically and biochemically. Preparation of patients psychologically and physiologically done here. Medicines and investigations, if needed are advised here. Brief information of the Anaesthesia procedure is given to the patients

Anaesthesia for all routine diagnostic and curative surgeries are given with specific being. Management of difficult airway with F.O. Bronchoscope challenging Anaesthesia for Pheochromocytoma and supramajor Thoraco-abdominal (one Lung anaesthesia under complete haemodynamic monitoring ABP, CVP) for Laproscopic surgeries, for radiotherapy and chemotherapy patients.

Post op ICU, ventilator management and acute pain services are available.

In dept. of ‘Anaesthesia’ SSGCH, we have ultramodern ‘Anaesthesia’ work station with low flow technique, advanced multipara monitor and many instruments to help us in satisfactory, pain free and safe recovery of patient.
