About Us
It is more than two decades since Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Cancer Hospital has been catering to the needs of cancer patients in southern Maharashtra, north Karnataka and parts of Konkan. The idea of starting a modest Community Cancer Centre in Miraj was conceptualized by Dr. Dattatraya K. Gosavi in early 1990s and once the seed was sown, he focused his energies to start and establish the project which was dear to his heart. With the active support from several agencies, well wishers and individuals from far and near, the first patient was rd treated on 3 October 1997 at Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Cancer Hospital. Over the years Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Cancer Hospital has developed in to a full-fledged Tertiary Cancer Care Centre in Miraj. Various modalities of treatment such as Surgery, Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy are oered at reasonable cost to needy patients. Sponsored schemes viz; Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana initiated by Govt of Maharashtra and Arogya Karnataka Scheme
