The Department of Hemodialysis contains fully air-conditioned four station hemodialysis unit, with 4 fully automated Fresenius machines. The unit has been especially designed under the expert guidance of Nephrologists. Other than providing maintenance Hemodialysis and Hemofiltration for patients with chronic renal failure, this munit also provides renal replacement therapy for any patient admitted at SSGCH who needs the support either due to AKI (Acute Kidney Injury) or ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease).
