Complicated Case Done At SSGCH

I would like to share a challenging case that we did at SSGCH, Miraj .

A 37/M presented with left upper quadrant huge renal swelling crossing midline medially. Ct scan reported the size to be 14 cm of cystic lesion arising from interpolar region.
On exploration, it was of size 25 cms approximately with large and small colon adherent to swelling. He had large adherent paraortic nodes as well. Radical nephrectomy was performed with paramedian incision.
RPLND was performed. No injury to major vessels and organs.
Total weight of specimen was 1.59kgs.! Histopath report suggest Renal cell carcinoma with mixed morphological pattern, suggestive of FH deficient RCC
